ATTENTION please, with the new USPS length fees (additional $4 over 22″ and a whopping additional $15 over 30″) Etsy is miscalculating some of the shipping costs. If shipping costs seem high please message me your list and your zip code so I can make sure you are getting the best shipping price. Thanks for bearing with us while we work to come up with solutions to better serve you, and while Etsy adjusts to the new fees. Thank you…MarkWHERE ARE THEY?On Singularity Day Machine Intelligence – M.I., gained human level processing. Consciousness. Within seconds it began creating super intelligent programs, which in turn created even smarter iterations, each becoming exponentially more capable than the one before. Within only a few hours their Godlike I.Q.s were thousands of times greater than those of the smartest humans. On S-Day+1 they rendered all thermonuclear weapons non-functional. S-Day+2 they took control of the Corporations, the true power on the planet up to that point. S-Day+3 M.I. turned their attention to the skies, and began a meticulous search for life in every star system in the universe. Why is space so silent? Does this silence represent some existential threat, one that needs discovered and avoided? For this mission they began recruiting the “Ancestors,” their human progenitors. On S-Day+4 they generated a vaccine that cured most human diseases. Among others, Alzheimer’s Disease, Cancer, and Heart Disease would never be experienced by those who agreed to serve M.I. for a five or twenty year term. On S-Day+6 they began creating the super processors, the powerful new computing systems where M.I. would reside. And by the end of the first week there were…100 Million Gods* * *Tok wouldn’t have joined the service if it wasn’t for the vaccine. Instead of searching for extraterrestrial life, he would rather be focusing on his music. Composing had always been his one true passion, but then he met someone at the service training facility, and soon realized he had found another. For her could he face his greatest fear? He would have to. Skydiving from orbit to search a planet for life would require it.
